When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

This is a rather belated birthday gift for my dear friend Rachel (
 ).The cat-boy character to the left is Minamoto Kino, who originated as a character in my Inuyasha fanfic, and has served as my avatar in several places (including Gaia Online). The wolf character to the right is Rachel's own "fursona," Night Tracker. This was the first time in many months that I've drawn Kino, and the first time I've ever drawn Night Tracker. As a result, I went through about half a dozen drafts before I was satisfied with the piece. I still see a lot of room for improvement, so I'm probably going to end up re-drawing it at some point, if only so I can do the characters justice. In any case, happy birthday, neesan! I hope you like it! |
