Shen D+D Version

An old, favorite character of mine who keeps being re-interpreted for new settings, Shen Aynaryn. At his side is his loyal wolf companion, Adarr.

This particular version of Shen is from a monthly D&D campaign that I play in, where he's a half-elf Druid 4/Ranger 2 (with a bit of GM houseruling to allow me to run Adarr as a familiar, rather than a simple animal companion).

This is a companion sketch to the other I just uploaded, but I'm less happy with how this one turned out. For one thing, the lines on this picture are much fainter and didn't scan as well. For another, when I was drawing this I somehow forgot that Shen doesn't have a sword (as those are prohibited for Druids, doh!).

On the plus side, I think this is the best I've ever done at free-handing a wolf. I seriously need to start taking some lessons from .
